As Principal of Willie Ray Smith Middle School, it is with immense pride and enthusiasm that I extend a warm welcome to all our incredible Smith Buffalo families, both returning and new.  I welcome and look forward to our partnership and unwavering support because it is the cornerstone of our school's success and the vibrant learning environment we strive to create every day.

I am eagerly anticipating a year filled with remarkable achievements, growth, and countless moments that will highlight the resilience and brilliance of our students.  At Smith Middle School, we are committed to fostering a nurturing and challenging environment where every student feels safe, valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential. We will continue to prioritize academic excellence, social-emotional development, and a love for lifelong learning.

We encourage you to remain actively engaged in your child's education and in our school community.
